One Office, Four Ways In

The South Willamette Valley Runs on Four Corridors

Look at a map of Lane County and the pattern is easy to see. Two rivers meet near Springfield, and the roads follow them. I-5 runs north and south through the middle. Highway 126 cuts east into the Cascade foothills and west toward the Coast Range. Highway 58 climbs southeast out of the valley floor. Almost everyone we treat lives along one of those four lines.

That geography is why a single office works here. Our address on Centennial Boulevard sits close to where the corridors cross, so a family in Coburg and a family in Creswell are both a straightforward drive away.

Where the Rivers Meet

Springfield and Eugene sit on either side of I-5, close enough that plenty of people work in one and sleep in the other. The Willamette runs between them and the McKenzie comes in from the northeast. Our office is a few minutes from both.

North on I-5

Coburg sits at exit 199 with its historic district and antique shops. Keep going or swing west onto Highway 99 and you reach Junction City, where the RV lots and the farm ground start. Both are a short run south to us.

South on I-5 and Highway 58

Creswell is twelve miles below Eugene, Cottage Grove about twenty three. Pleasant Hill sits off Highway 58 between the Coast Fork and the Middle Fork of the Willamette. All three are an easy northbound drive.

The Highway 126 Corridor

East of us, Thurston and then Walterville follow the McKenzie into the foothills. West of Eugene, the same highway number carries you past Fern Ridge Reservoir to Veneta. One road, two very different drives.

Finding Us

Getting to the Office

We are at 1717 Centennial Boulevard, Suite #3, on the stretch of Centennial that runs between Pioneer Parkway and Mohawk Boulevard in Springfield. If you are coming down I-5, take the Springfield exit and follow Highway 126 to the Mohawk area, then work back onto Centennial.

Coming in from the river road, Highway 126 drops you into east Springfield and Centennial carries you straight across town. Coming up from Creswell or Cottage Grove, I-5 north to the Springfield exits is the simplest line. From Veneta, Highway 126 through Eugene and across the freeway does it in one road.

New here? The patient resources page covers forms and insurance before you make the trip, and Dr. Collins and the team are worth a look if you are deciding whether the drive is worth it.

Questions From Out of Town Patients

Do you take patients who live outside Springfield?

Yes. Our dental service areas reach across Lane County, and a good share of our patients drive in from Eugene, the small towns along I-5, and the McKenzie River communities east on Highway 126. There is no separate process for out of town patients. You book the same way everyone else does.

How many offices does Two Rivers Dental Group have?

One. Every patient is seen at 1717 Centennial Blvd, Suite #3 in Springfield, OR 97477. Dr. Matthew Collins and the same team treat everyone who walks through the door, whether you live four blocks away or drive down from Walterville.

Can I get in the same day if I have a dental emergency?

Call us at 541-287-7874 as early in the day as you can and we will work to get you seen. Same-day appointments are part of how the schedule is built, which matters when you are starting from Cottage Grove or Junction City and need to know before you get in the car.

Which towns do you cover?

Springfield, Eugene, Thurston, Coburg, Pleasant Hill, Creswell, Junction City, Cottage Grove, Veneta, and Walterville. If your town is not on that list but you are somewhere in the south Willamette Valley, call and ask. The list reflects where our patients live, not a border we enforce.

Do you treat kids and seniors from all of these communities?

Yes. This is a family practice, so a first visit for a three year old and a denture fitting for a grandparent can happen on the same afternoon. Families across our dental service areas often book back to back visits so one trip into Springfield covers everybody.
