The Town

Close Enough to the Freeway, Far Enough From Everything Else

Coburg is a strange and wonderful piece of Lane County. A few blocks of 1800s architecture that the National Register recognized as a historic district in 1986. Antique shops running out of converted houses along Willamette and Harrison. Farmland on three sides and the Coburg Hills standing over the whole thing. The town was originally called Diamond and got its current name from a stallion, which tells you roughly everything about how Coburg does business.

It is also two minutes from I-5, which is why Marathon Coach builds motorcoaches here and why the drive to us is nothing. Coburg has always been a place that sits quietly next to a very fast road.

Here is the part that actually matters. A town this size does not carry its own everything. Coburg families are already driving for groceries, for school sports, for the hardware store. The dentist is one more trip on a list you have long since made peace with.

So the question stops being how far and starts being how many trips. We answer that by doing all of it in one building, including the implant work most general offices hand off to a specialist across town. One address, one dentist, one drive. If you are heading down to Eugene anyway, we are barely further on.

One Trip, Everything Done

Dental Care for Coburg Families

Every service below happens at the Centennial Boulevard office in Springfield. Nothing gets farmed out to a second address.

Family Dentistry

Exams, cleanings, x-rays, and preventive care for the whole house. Book everyone in one block and make the drive count.

Kids Dentistry

First visits, sealants, fluoride, and cleanings paced for kids who would rather be at Armitage Park.

Emergency Dentist

Toothaches, broken teeth, same-day appointments. Call before you drive down and we will tell you what the day looks like.

Dental Implants

Single tooth implants, implant crowns, and full arch work planned and placed in house rather than referred out.

Restorative Dentistry

Fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures. The work that gets an old repair doing its job again.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Veneers, bonding, contouring, and smile makeovers, planned around your face rather than a catalog.

Teeth Whitening

Professional whitening, plus an honest read on what your teeth will actually do before you pay for it.

All Dental Services

Every silo and every treatment in one list, if you want the full picture before booking.

Getting Here

Exit 199 to Suite #3

South on I-5 from the Coburg exit, off at Springfield, then west onto Centennial Boulevard. Almost the whole thing is freeway, which is the good kind of drive: nothing to think about, no lights, no downtown.

Coming back is the same in reverse, and you will be home before the numbing wears off. Dr. Matthew Collins is the one you will see every visit, and the service areas page lays out the rest of the valley if you have family in other towns.

Questions From Coburg Patients

How long does it take to get to you from Coburg?

Exit 199 to I-5 south, off at Springfield, then onto Centennial Boulevard. It is mostly freeway, so it is a short and boring drive, which is what you want when you are taking a kid to the dentist.

Can you handle everything, or will I get sent somewhere else?

Everything happens at the one office on Centennial. That includes implant work, which a lot of general practices refer out. For a Coburg family that already drives for most things, being sent to a third address is the last thing you need.

What if I have a dental emergency in Coburg?

Call 541-287-7874 before you get in the car. Same-day appointments are built into the schedule, and we would rather tell you what the day looks like than have you drive down and wait. We are closed Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Do you see kids from Coburg Elementary?

Yes. Kids dentistry is part of what we do, from a first visit through sealants and fluoride. Coburg parents often book the whole family in one block so the drive down I-5 covers everybody at once.
